Zara Balfour
I’m an award-winning director, producer, writer, and photographer dedicated to telling stories that change how we see ourselves and the world.
My films and campaigns spark real-world impact, having won awards at BIFA, Berlinale, London Film Festival, Cannes Lions and more.
With over 25 years’ experience across documentary, scripted, branded content, acting and presenting, I’ve filmed in more than 20 countries, directed internationally acclaimed feature documentary, and built social enterprise Snowland Journeys CIC to transform film impact into lasting change.
I'm a BAFTA and BIFA voter, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, and a Directors UK, WFTV and NUJ member.
